July 6, 2017 – Tribute to Island Music & Rock n’ Roll

The Mango Brothers (7 pm – 7:35 pm)

The Mango Brothers are area musicians Steve “Smitty” Smith and Robb Heskett. Their music is an entertaining mix of tropical favorites and popular songs given an island flair. The Mango Brothers provide an ambiance of Island Flavored Music, and their repertoire draws from Traditional Island favorites such as Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, Kenny Chesney, The Beach Boys, The Eagles, Van Morrison and many others.

The Everly Brothers Experience (7:45 pm – 9 pm)

The Zmed Brothers bring a genuine and youthful Everly Brothers experience to the stage. Zachary and Dylan Zmed celebrate the genetic intimacy so ever-present in the harmonies created by Don and Phil Everly. When the guitar became electric, The Everly Brothers bridged the gap between Country and R&B, creating a new sound never heard before with Rock ‘n’ Roll. With countless hits and classics, The Everly Brothers inspired artists like The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, The Kinks, and many groups that utilize the blend of two-part harmony. Their career spanned three decades and they continue to influence artists around the world.

Double Standards/Triple Threat (5:30 – 7 pm)

Double Standards/Triple Threat plays swinging instrumental jazz. This trio’s repertoire spans blues to bebop to Broadway. They go from lush ballads to jumping fast-paced Latin tunes in the blink of an eye. Many of these songs will be familiar to listeners, but one thing you can count on is they will all swing!
