About the Phyllis Walbye Film Series: Phyllis Walbye served as the arts and entertainment editor for the Loveland Reporter-Herald for over 30 years and was an avid supporter of Loveland’s various performing arts organizations. In 2001, the Rialto Theater Center and Phyllis joined forces in an effort to bring under-recognized films to Loveland. Phyllis passed away in 2008, but the film series has continued on in honor of its namesake with special screenings of award-winning and critically-acclaimed films.
