Dear Basketball

Lou is a 2017 computer-animated short film produced by PixarAnimation Studios. Written and directed by Dave Mullins, it was theatrically released alongside Pixar’s Cars 3 on June 16, 2017. The short is about a lost and found box and the unseen monster within.

Negative Space
Negative Space co-directed by Max Porterand Ru Kuwahata, is an adaptation of the poem by Ron Koertge. The poem’s tale about a boy who connects with his father by learning to pack a suitcase touched each of the filmmakers in different ways.

Revolting Rhymes
Revolting Rhymes is an adaptation of Roald Dahl and Quentin Blake’s classic book of surprising fairy tales. The two-part film retells and intertwines five of the six poems in the book, including modern takes on Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, the Three Little Pigs, and the Big Bad Wolf. It’s voiced by a stellar cast that includes Dominic West (‘The Affair’) as The Wolf; Rose Leslie (‘Game of Thrones’) as Red Riding Hood; and Gemma Chan (‘Humans’) as Snow White.

“Weeds” tells the story of a dandelion, rooted on the wrong side of the driveway in a barren yard surrounded by dry dirt and dead grass. Just across the concrete lies another yard, where the sprinklers spray water endlessly, and the greener grass holds the promise of a better life. While watching helplessly as its fellow weeds wither away and die, the dandelion faces a decision: take action or suffer the same fate.

In ancient China, a little dragon who can’t breathe fire will fight to overcome his weakness in order to take part in the New Year’s celebration.
